Laurie Brainerd feeds your senses at Jump Start!
Laurie Brainerd is showing her Food is Love, Love is Food work at Jump Start in the Blue Star Arts Complex. The fabric work that Brainerd is showing deal with her own introspection about body-type and lifestyle/food associations.
A Little Shock and Awe at Three Walls
Wesley Harvey is showing his kissed again series of fine art china and paintings at Three Walls Gallery in the Blue Star Arts Complex during CAM. Moving from his previously labelled "cute" ceramics into newly controversial hard-core subject matter, the work is sure to ignite fires that burn as bright as the red wall the small paintings hang on.

Tacos? Did somebody say "Tacos?"
VOA will be covering the Kick Off Party for CAM at Blue Star on Thursday night from 6-9pm. Dress for the occasion, you never know who's there taking pictures! The very next day, we will be at ArtPace for Taco Friday. As a matter of fact, I'm willing to bet that you can get tacos at BOTH of these events.
